Call for applications - Committee to oversee assessment of overseas qualified nurses and midwives

The NMBA is seeking applicants with the appropriate qualifications and experienced with a background in nursing and/or midwifery or from other professions or disciplines.

The role of the Committee is to provide oversight on the outcomes-based assessment (OBA) of the knowledge, clinical skills and professional attributes of internationally qualified nurses and midwives (IQNM) who are seeking registration in Australia. The Committee will also make recommendations to the NMBA about the OBA for IQNM and associated matters.

The National Scheme has a commitment to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ leadership and voices. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply, as are people from rural or regional areas in Australia.
