Call for applications to the New South Wales Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) supports the 14 National Health Profession Boards in their primary role of protecting the public. AHPRA manages the registration and notification handling processes for health practitioners and students across Australia.
State, territory and regional boards exercise their functions in the jurisdiction to provide an effective and timely local response to health practitioners and other persons.
Applications are now sought from Nursing and Midwifery practitioners from New South Wales to fill a vacancy on the New South Wales Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
New South Wales Board appointments are made by the New South Wales Minister for Health under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory. Appointments are for up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment, and are expected to commence in mid 2016.
