The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) has sponsored a comprehensive review of the recognition of the NMBA brand and identity as an independent yet interrelated entity with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
PricewaterhouseCoopers has partnered with an independent market research company, Colmar Brunton to conduct research aimed at getting better understanding of the NMBA’s role as seen by major stakeholders including nurses, midwives and consumers in general.
A number of focus groups have been organised to engage nurses, midwives and consumers in contributing to the research. This is a great opportunity for nurses and midwives and interested parties to provide the National Board with feedback and insight into the role of the NMBA.
The dates and locations of the focus groups are as follows:
If you would like to be involved in a focus group, please RSVP by Friday 14 November 2014 to Mark Baker (mark.baker@colmarbrunton.com or (07) 3026 3014) and include preferred venue, your name, contact email and any dietary requirements in the RSVP. Please note that limited spaces are available at these sessions and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
For those who are unable to attend a focus group but would still like to provide feedback, we are running an online survey that will be available during January on the NMBA website. The survey questions will be very similar those which will be covered during the focus group sessions.
