Have your say: Focus groups on Registration standard for eligible midwives

Eligible midwives, and midwives interested in achieving notation and endorsement, are invited to attend focus groups on Registration standard for eligible midwives.

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (National Board) invites eligible midwives, eligible midwives with endorsement and midwives interested in achieving notation and endorsement to attend one of a number of focus groups being held in March 2014.

The focus groups are being conducted as part of the National Board’s ‘Review of registration standard for eligible midwives’ project, which also incorporates the review of the existing:

• Registration standard for endorsement of scheduled medicines for eligible midwives, and 
• associated guidelines and assessment framework.

Sessions will be held in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide.

Attending the focus groups is a great opportunity for eligible midwives and prospective applicants to provide the National Board with feedback on the current registration standards.
