Request for tender - National health impairment program

15 Jan 2014

Seeking qualified and experienced parties to explore health impairment referral, treatment and rehabilitation services for regulated health professionals.

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is seeking suitably qualified and experienced parties to undertake a comprehensive review of the need for, and the value of, a national referral, treatment and rehabilitation service for regulated health professionals with an impairment.

The project will involve reviewing the literature and exploring health service models associated with regulated health professions and the role of national and international regulators in relation to such models in Australia and internationally.

The project will also include a cost-benefit analysis of models for a national program identified as suitable for health professions in Australia that aligns with the National Board’s regulatory role and function.

The closing date for formal responses/bids to the Request for Tender (RFT) as per details in the RFT document is 2pm Friday 14 February 2014.

For further information regarding the tender documents, please contact Dr Jocelyn Small, Program Manager at nmbafeedback@ahpra.gov.au.
