Information for enrolled nurses

When you have been confirmed as a Stream B candidate and have established your portfolio, you will be advised by email that your portfolio is now complete. At this time your IQNM dashboard will reflect your eligibility to sit the EN MCQ examination.

Once you are deemed eligible to sit the EN MCQ Examination, the IQNM exam team will email you a copy of the EN Examination Form. The candidates must then register to sit by completing the form and pay the examination fee for the EN MCQ Examination.

You must provide relevant details required to process the examination fee payment. When you have paid the examination fee you will be sent a booking selection email.

The fee for the MCQ exam is $250 AUD. And must be paid prior to confirming your examination date.

The OSCE is delivered at two locations:

• Adelaide Health Simulation (AHS) in Adelaide, South Australia, and
• The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in Melbourne, Victoria.

Candidates are required to travel to Australia to undertake the examination.

No contact should be made to Adelaide Health Simulation or the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in relation to the OSCE. All queries should be directed to the IQNM Exam team.

Your MCQ result will be recorded within your Ahpra record. If you have passed the MCQ you will be contacted by Ahpra to let you know that you are eligible to sit the OSCE. You will need to pay the OSCE fee at this time.

Once your fee payment has been received the IQNM exams team will contact you in relation to upcoming dates for OSCE examinations.

There is no set frequency for the EN OSCE. The EN OSCEs are held based on candidate demand and their readiness to take the exam.

Once you have completed all the requirements to be eligible for the OSCE, the IQNM Exam team will contact you to arrange a suitable time to take the exam.

The fee amount is $4000 AUD per sitting. The OSCE fee must be paid prior to confirming your examination date.
